Deep Swell is a true rock band rising from the banks of the Potomac River near the historic town of Shepherdstown, WV. Now with their sound crafted, their first album "Lore of the Angler" is set to be released on Weathermaker Music. With a powerful female lead vocalist and precise rhythmic force, their sound is a mix of riff-based rock, funk-tinged psychedelia and mysterious, poectic lyrics. Years of friendship and mutual appreciation for each other's talents brought Tim Sult into collaboration with drummer Jesse Shultzaberger and bassist Logan Kilmer.

Profile: From Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Guitarist Tim Sult (Clutch) and drummer Jesse Shultzaberger (The Woodshedders) got together in 2011 to experiment with some new sounds and jam. Shortly after, Logan Kilmer (Noetic Pull) joined the ranks on bass. Toward the end of that year, Briena Pearl was invited to sing, and with the addition of vocals, Deep Swell's dynamic sound was forged. Lore Of The Angler ‎(CD, Album).
