Orbital (commonly known as the Green Album or Orbital 1) is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Orbital, released on 30 September 1991 by FFRR Records. The alternate title comes from the fact that Orbital made both of their first 2 albums self-titled, forcing fans to call it something else to distinguish it from the 2nd album. Despite the fact that the cover is yellow it is called the Green Album due to a color misprint in the 1st printing vinyl.

Orbital never descend into New Age fluff or hardcore macho aggression. While their tracks are exacting demonstrations of studio mastery and performance wit, they achieve equilibrium between mindful headphone music and kinetic body inspiration.
