Gorky's Zygotic Mynci – Patio. Patio is a collection of various studio, live and home recordings made by the band between march 1991 & april 1993.
Patio is the debut album by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. It was originally released on 10" vinyl only in June 1992 on the Ankst label, and re-issued on CD in June 1995 with nine extra tracks. It is made up of a mixture of live, studio and home recordings. John Cale once named it his favourite ever album. All songs written by Lawrence/Childs unless otherwise stated. Tracks 13-21 appear on the 1995 CD re-release only.

The earliest work of Welsh darlings Gorky's Zygotic Mynci can be found on the Patio CD, which compiles the band's 1991-1993 radio and studio sessions. This one actually gets expanded upon on their next CD, which was recorded that same year. Hi ar Gan" ("Her and the Song") closes Patio off quietly, showcasing the band's other blossoming area of expertise; while Euros sings in Welsh, "Now give her the notes/And give me the melody," Megan 's lilting violin obeys, and Euros ' whispered voice drifts you out.
