It was released in 1990 just one year after their previous live album Rock 'n' Roll Gypsies to celebrate the tenth anniversary years of the band's activity, together with a VHS of the concert. While Saxon's first live album, The Eagle Has Landed, failed to improve on the glory of the band's early studio albums, their second live set Greatest Hits Live! actually does a nice job of weeding through their early hits and the rare gems in their latter records.
