Gershon Kingsley, Norman Simon - The 5th Cup - A Spirit Explosion ‎(LP, Album). The 5th Cup. STK - 1044.

A kind of Jewish Jesus Christ Superstar, The 5th Cup pairs lyricist Norman Simon, composer Gershon Kingsley, and folksinger Theodore Bikel to celebrate Passover via a most unlikely musical vehicle: the rock opera. A sprawling, wildly imaginative work that eschews Kingsley's traditional electronic approach in favor of lush orchestral and choral arrangements, the music boasts the sound and scope befitting a project of truly biblical proportions
