This extraordinary album, an underground classic since its release in early 1971, has been lurking around CD want lists for decades - it seems to have been lost amid the bankruptcy of Avco/Embassy, the parent company of the record label for which it was recorded. The remainder of the album is purely Kingsley and his Moog, and delves into more daring electronic excursions based on Gershwin's writing as represented by Porgy and Bess. It's one of the best products of the public's brief embrace of electronic music from the end of the 1960s, a rival for Carlos' best work, and long overdue for a digital reissue.
