Remains is a compilation album from Alkaline Trio. The album is a collection of 22 tracks that the band has recorded for various compilations, EPs, B-sides and international releases. The disc also includes three new live tracks from a 2006 concert at Avalon in Los Angeles.

Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from McHenry, Illinois. The band consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Matt Skiba, bassist and co-vocalist Dan Andriano, and drummer Derek Grant. Founded in late 1996 by Skiba, bassist Rob Doran, and drummer Glenn Porter, Alkaline Trio released its debut single, "Sundials", in 1997. Following its release, Doran departed from the band and was replaced by Andriano.

In 2001, Alkaline Trio shuffled band members and signed to Vagrant for the release of From Here to Infirmary. Two years later they followed it up with Good Mourning, which made an appearance in Billboard 's Top-200 charts.
