Crimson is the fifth studio album by American rock band Alkaline Trio, released on May 24, 2005. Bassist Dan Andriano notes that: it was kind of the same as always. Damnesia is an album by the punk rock band Alkaline Trio, released July 12, 2011 through their label Heart & Skull, a joint venture with Epitaph Records. For Damnesia, Matt Skiba, Dan Andriano, and Derek Grant pick a smattering of songs from seven of their albums, spanning from 2010’s This Addiction back to 1998’s Goddamnit!, and give them an intimate unplugged treatment with some broad arrangements. As well as performing lighter versions of old fan faves "Radio," "Private Eye," and "This Could Be Love," they attempt a cover of Violent Femmes' I Held Her in My Arms" and introduce two new tracks, I Remember a Rooftop and Olde English 800.
