This single-CD compilation doesn't do too much more than scratch the surface of the band's sound at its most popular points, but it does do one thing that no prior Moody Blues compilation ever did - it includes "Go Now," which, as the notes point out, is still the group's top-charting single in England. In 1975, the Moody Blues' Hayward and Lodge released an album of their own, which was cleverly titled Blue Jays (Moody Blues, Justin and John-get it?). The expanded 1987 and 2004 versions of the album feature "Blue Guitar," which was released as a non-album single by the duo that same year. Not surprisingly, it's a beautiful song with a killer guitar sound.

Notes
This is a Rhodesian issue (3-A on the back means it was Rhodesia), released in 1978 on the Gallo label, blue on white. For the cover , back and front, they've used the pictures that were used on inside of the A Question Of Balance album. Front is in colour, back in black and white. There are several spelling mistakes/typos. "Nights In White Satin" is written as "Knights In White Satin" on the back of the sleeve, and "Minstrel's Song" is spelled as "Ministrel's Song" on the label.Barcode and Other Identifiers
