Placebo is the debut studio album by English alternative rock band Placebo. It was released on 17 July 1996 by record label Virgin. It is the only album recorded with drummer Robert Schultzberg before his departure from the group. The album was a commercial success in the UK, reaching number 5 in the UK Albums Chart. It spawned five singles, including "Nancy Boy" and "36 Degrees".

Lost & Found is the third studio album by American R&B and jazz singer-songwriter Ledisi, released August 28, 2007 on Verve Records. It is her major-label debut after releasing two independent albums with her producing partner and keyboardist Sundra Manning on their label LeSun Records.
That's not to say that Placebo's sound is boring; churning guitars and direct, heavy basslines give the album a good deal of strength, and Molko is able to write moving, gritty melodies and fairly clever lyrics. Placebo may sound like a mix between the Smashing Pumpkins and Rush - and the levels of melodrama on the album may stretch far beyond most people's tolerance - but it's well-written and performs enough variations on those genres to keep it interesting.

He made his own cocktail of jazz, soul, downtempo, electro and lounge with Placebo (1971-1974), Sam Suffy , Telex (1979-1986) and a trilogy on the Blue Note label (2001-2007).
Unreleased tracks are now resurfacing with Lost & Found, a compilation of three tracks originally recorded in 1973 for Phalène, the play by journalist and playwright André Drossart. This session was recorded with Marc Moulin's band Placebo.
Whereas the track Phalène had already been published in a shortened version on Placebo's album 1973 and on the B-side of the single Balek, Lost & Found presents its full 28-minute version, as well as two new compositions of the time, Phalène III and Phalène IV."
