Real Live is a live album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on November 29, 1984 by Columbia Records. Recorded during the artist's 1984 European Tour, most of the album was recorded at Wembley Stadium on 7 July, but "License to Kill" and "Tombstone Blues" come from St James' Park, Newcastle on 5 July, and "I and I" and "Girl from the North Country" were recorded at Slane Castle, Ireland on 8 July.

The audio came from Dylan’s European tour from that year, with I and I and Girl From North Country recorded at Slane Castle in Ireland, License to Kill and Tombstone Blues coming from St. James' Park in Newcastle, and the rest of the songs from his Wembley performance. As usual with Dylan there is good and bad as well as old and new. It's an album which came out in the mid eighties, shortly after the recording of the Infidels album. The standout track is Tangled up in Blue.
Bob Dylan Live 1975: The Rolling Thunder Revue: Hard Rain captured this tour at the tail end when the participants were exhausted, burned-out and disillusioned. This album by contrast, is at the start of the tour and it absolutely smokes from start to finish. Definitive versions of 'Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You, The Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll, Isis, and Hurricane. Also a wonderfully droll moment when the band is about to launch into 'Oh Sister', somebody shouts out 'do a protest song!' and Dylan retorts 'here's one for ya' and.
