Hidden Pictures is a power-pop band splitting time between Lawrence and Kansas City that’s been around, more or less, since 2008. It’s fronted by Richard Gintowt and Michelle Gaume Sanders and started after Sanders became artistic muse for Gintowt, who was fronting OK Jones. Love came along with her glockenspiel playing and the rest, as they sa. They now live together in Overland Park. Rainbow Records isn’t a concept album as such - more of a hodgepodge, with love songs, too, Gintowt says. It’s a lot about bands I listened to growing up - the indie pop of the nineties and all that.
