When the original cassette was released in 1989, it was released under a different title, E is for Everything, though the track listing was identical to the other formats. E is for Everything is currently out of print. The tape also had a different cover, similar to the band's 1985 self-titled EP which depicts a skull with a syringe.

NOFX must be joking to disown this, because it's is their best album. Most of their stuff afterward is embarrassing poppy garbage. 5 years ago. best album from em. Heavy germs/negative fx/early 80's boston punk scene influences in this stuff on Mystic :) I have read now a million articles/interviews done by mike saying their early stuff was horrible crap. The music is largely influenced by the California punk of the group’s youth, especially that of jokester godfathers the Descendents and sloppy Hollywood trash the Germs.
