Three Mantras is an album by English band Cabaret Voltaire. It was released in May 1980, through record label Rough Trade. Record Mirror originally publicised Three Mantras as, '. ', evidently from a press release by Rough Trade.

It would actually be more accurate to call this album 'Two Mantras,' given that it consists of two sidelong pieces, "Eastern Mantra" and "Western Mantra," which gives the still-then-a-trio a chance to expand its nge into trancier realms. Mallinder's abstract ranting is in full effect from the start of "Eastern," talking about bodies in the streets and the like, and from there things move into a rough realm of strange art, Voltaire-style.

The reversed vocal that runs all the way through 'Eastern Mantra' is the name of another Sheffield electronic band - The Human League. According to Trouser Press, Three Mantras is "the group's first explicit venture into non-Western musical forms".
