The Rolling Stones' Tour of the Americas '75 was a 1975 concert tour originally intended to reach both North and South America. The plans for concerts in Central and South America never solidified, however, and the tour covered only the United States and Canada. After the departure of Mick Taylor, this was the Rolling Stones' first tour with new guitarist Ronnie Wood.

Charlie Watts is an English drummer, best known as one of the members of the famous and ageless rock 'n' roll band, the ‘Rolling Stones’. This biography profiles his childhood, life, music career, achievements and timeline. Though he turned down the proposal of the ‘Rolling Stones’ earlier, in January 1963 he finally gave his nod and officially joined the band. On January 12, 1963 he played for the first time for the band at the ‘Eagles Blue Club’. Till date he remains a part of the ‘Rolling Stones’, a band that emerged as the most enduring and popular classic rock ‘n’ roll band of all times. His group ‘The Charlie Watts Tentet’ released an album in 2004 titled ‘Watts at Scott's’. Recently he has gained popularity for performing with ‘ABC&D of Boogie Woogie’, a swing band that includes his childhood friend and bassist Dave Green along with pianists Ben Waters and Axel Zwingenberger.
Only two cities into the Rolling Stones’ massive Tour of the Americas, ’75, Carter was earning his keep as the tour’s straight man, the tough-talking lawyer who could deal with local authorities on their own level. What he had not counted on so early in the tour was Rupert Murdoch, the San Antonio News’ Australian publisher, and his daily serving of dope, sex and violence. And, as Charlie Watts said as he waited for the rehearsal to start, most earlier rehearsals had been just jamming and this was the last chance to put the show together. Watts, who appeared thinner than ever and sported a slowly growing skinhead haircut ( I cut it off because I was going bald ), was sitting with bassist Bill Wyman and trading stories with journalists. Shortly thereafter, the man himself, the reclusive backbone of the Stones, held an audience in his cluttered room in the Hilton.
