The X Factor is a television music competition franchise created by British producer Simon Cowell and his company SYCOtv. It originated in the United Kingdom, where it was devised as a replacement for Pop Idol (2001–2003), and has been adapted in various countries. The Human Factor (album) - The Human Factor est le quatrième album studio du groupe de heavy metal américain Metal Church.
The X Factor is the tenth studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 2 October 1995 through EMI. It is the first of two albums by the band to include Blaze Bayley, formerly of Wolfsbane, as vocalist, replacing Bruce Dickinson who left the band following their previous tour to pursue a solo career. The album takes a darker tone than the band's first nine releases, due to the lyrics being based on personal issues surrounding Steve Harris at the time, who was in the midst of a divorce.
First album with Blaze Bayley. The "X" in the album title refers to this being Iron Maiden's tenth studio album. Music videos were made for the songs "Man on the Edge" and "Lord of the Flies (live)". The lyrics of the song "Man on the Edge" is based on the movie Falling Down (1993), starring Michael Douglas. The artwork shown is the original cover. A toned down version was created after many British chain-stores threatened to boycott the album over the graphic nature of the original artwork
