John Williams Greatest Hits 1969–1999 is a compilation of concert suites from various films John Williams has scored between 1969 and 1999. Mack Avenue Skullgame" 's overarching theme and offbeat sense of overall cohesion aren't present on "Platinum Jive", and while not bedrock-heavy by any stretch of the imagination, packs more of a guitar-centered sonic punch, and worthy of snagging despite what some might interpret as its lesser pedigree.
