University of Wisconsin–Parkside. The University of Wisconsin–Parkside is a four-year public university located in Somers, Wisconsin. Part of the University of Wisconsin System, the school has 4,500 students, 125 full-time faculty, and 60 lecturers and part-time faculty. The university offers 33 undergraduate majors and 11 master's degrees in 22 academic departments.

The ensemble has a wonderful, polished sound and its own distinctive personality. It is a highly disciplined unit that swings like mad. The individual sections are outstanding and the soloists are well-schooled, gifted and thoroughly professional. A final thought: Hold on to your hat. All but one of these fine young musicians is an undergraduate! One of the finest college bands that I have heard in many years. Personnel: Saxophones Jason Gillette, alto Drew Disher, alto Bill Voltz, tenor Chad Walker, tenor Chris Campbell, baritone.
