Charing Cross is a band that seem to make use of the traditional 80s shouting choir on a regular basis. You’ll find this in most of the choruses on this album, and though it’s a bit dated, it sounds really cool. Forever Rockin’ is a cool track that keeps the pace up all the way; there are no low-points in the song. It also sees some fine guitar work from Pascal Zwyssig and Andy Dormann. We Ar. is the first album of a newcomer from Switzerland, Charing Cross. Definitely, Charing Cross plays the same kind of music than the last Edguy and if you like the German combo, you'll probably like "We Ar. As you can guess, Charing Cross plays some kind of melodic Heavy Metal with some big Hard Rock influences. Like Edguy, the riffs are super catchy and popular, the guitars soli are technical we have sing-along choruses and a singer with a voice which fits perfectly to this kind of music. We Ar. is not really original that's right but the album features good songs like the really catchy and Heavy "Voices" and "Burn The Sun" or the real Hard Rock track "Final Day".
