Aidan Baker Leah Buckareff. Nadja is a duo of Aidan Baker (/woodwinds/drums) and Leah Buckareff (bass/vocals). Nadja began in 2003 as a solo project for Baker to explore the heavier/noisier side of his music performed mainly on the electric guitar The duo combines soundscape, electronics and atmospheric vocals with slow, epic riffs and dirge-like percussion, creating a slowly moving grand wall of music that has been described.

Aidan Baker (born 1974/75) is a musician from Toronto, Ontario, Canada who has released numerous records both as a solo artist and as part of various side projects, including Nadja, ARC, Caudal and Mnemosyne He has toured in both North America and Europe, and has made appearances at the OM Festival, MUTEK, South by Southwest, and the Distillery Jazz Festival. Datashock is a ritualistic k collective from Saarlouis, Germany. There is no constant lineup, as the group is joined by new members every now and then. Their music is defined almost entirely by psychedelic multidimensional live-improvisations stemming from 70ies krautrock influenced by contemporary electronic music and psychotic dronescapes. As a result we find complex layers of sultry muffled vibrations met by heavy waves of electronic sound experiments and strangely disfigured images. Datashock's music has a similarly warm and organic feel to it. Labels like spooky utfolk are at the same time graphic description as well as missing the point altogether. During the band's four-year history one of the highlights has been this year's (2007) release of a live-collaboration picture-LP with Nadja, also known as Aidan Baker and Leah Buckareff.
