The late Bert Robinson was one of the shining lights of late 80s soul, managing the divide between the classic soul of previous decades with a new musical style in R&B ahead of 90s new jack swing.

His voice has a resemblance to Teddy Pendergrass most evident on the mid tempo tracks ‘Just A Little love’ and ‘Still Waiting’ and the ballads ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ and Preston Glass’s ‘You Turn me Out’.
