I love this first Sister Sledge album. While it is before my time, I wasn't even thought of when it was released :) I do enjoy the fun spirit of the era that this album conveys. Young Kathy sounds absolutely adorable as do her sisters. The songs are poppy, disco-y, and super sweet. This is a perfect feel good album for me. I had the CD but just had to have the mp3s for those commutes. This is a must have for true, die hard Sister Sledge fans. nice back-up harmonies from Joni,Debbie and Kim. I've been waiting for this release.
1. Circle of Love (Caught in the Middle).
Together is the second studio album by the American R&B vocal group Sister Sledge, released on August 9, 1977 by Cotillion Records. The album was the group's first release on the Cotillion label after parting from Atco Records. The album features a cover version of the Stevie Wonder R&B hit "As"; which was released the previous year by Wonder. The group performed the single on an episode of Soul Train, which aired in December 1977.
