Music from the Motion Picture is an album by 10,000 Maniacs. The album, their first full-length in 14 years, contains eleven original songs. This album is the first to feature guitarist Jeff Erickson since he took over for Robert Buck following his death in 2000, and the first Maniacs album to feature Mary Ramsey without her longtime music partner, John Lombardo.

Scoreboard Bleeding
Nice short alt country tune. Wish it was longer. It starts out very atmospheric and bleak, then builds and unfolds to kind of an abrupt ending. I feel that it begs to be part of something bigger- an intro to an album or something. I suppose in that regard it's fitting that this song opens up the movie. Stone's backing guitar sings like a sawblade. The instrumental version is the version I prefer, partly because it shines the spotlight on the music, which is starkly beautiful.
