‘When The Sun Goes Down’ is the new single from Arctic Monkeys. Whereas last single, the No. 1 ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ dealt with the tackiest nightclubs, ‘When The Sun Goes Down’ is the sound of the streets long after the clubs have kicked out for the night. It is further evidence of the band’s lyrical and musical panache: rarely have the British streets sounded so vital. Both singles will feature on Arctic Monkeys debut album which is released in early 2006 on Domino. The band have recently been playing sell-out and upgraded shows in Europe, North America and Japan. You will be able to catch them in the UK from 23 Jan-17 Feb as they are on the bill for the NME Awards tour.
