Something Else is the third studio album by R&B singer Robin Thicke, released on September 30, 2008. It is a follow up to Thicke's highly successful second album The Evolution of Robin Thicke and features a guest appearance by Lil Wayne. After Robin Thicke finished his tour for The Evolution of Robin Thicke, he immediately went into the studio to start recording his next album.
Thicke's third studio album, Something Else was released in September 2008. The album peaked at number 3 on both the US Billboard 200, and on the Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. The album's first two singles, "Magic" and "The Sweetest Love", both became top 20 hits on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Sex Therapy: The Session was released in December 2009, peaking. at numbers 9 and 2 on the US Billboard 200, and on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, respectively . Thicke has attained his biggest commercial success to date with the releases of his sixth studio album Blurred Lines and its respective singles.

Robin Charles Thicke (born March 10, 1977 in Los Angeles, California) is a Grammy-winning American pop and R&B singer-songwriter, producer, and actor signed to Pharrell Williams' Star Trak label. Also known for being the son of performer Alan Thicke, he released his debut album, called 'A Beautiful World', in 2003.
