Bill Evans Trio with Symphony Orchestra is an album by American jazz pianist Bill Evans and his trio, released in 1966. The group is accompanied by an orchestra arranged and conducted by Claus Ogerman. one of Bill Evans' least significant recordings, a weak third stream effort.

The Bill Evans Trio "Live" is a live album by American jazz pianist Bill Evans and his Trio, released in 1971 and recorded in 1964. Side 1. "Nardis" (Miles Davis) - 6:00. Some Day My Prince Will Come" (Frank Churchill, Larry Morey) - 6:20. Stella by Starlight" (Ned Washington, Victor Young) - 6:20. How My Heart Sings" (Earl Zindars) - 4:45. Side 2. Il crepuscolo di Bill Evans fu tanto doloroso sul piano umano, quanto dotato di una speciale grazia su quello musicale. Mentre il suicidio del fratello Harry lo spingeva al deterioramento estremo, la sua inventiva melodica, la personale rivisitazione romantica del panismo bebop e la voglia di comunicare e mettersi in gioco dal vivo e in studio, tutto questo viveva con passione elegante e luminosa. Personnel: Bill Evans (pianoforte); Marc Johnson (contrabbasso); Joe LaBarbera (batteria). Title: Live at Lulu White's 1979 Year Released: 2011 Record Label: Gambit Records.

Sound quality is great. This was most likely taken from a re-broadcast of the show, which was originally aired by WGBH in Boston. Vinyl is quiet, a very good quality pressing. Only gripe is the screw up on the title. It's on the cover, label and spine as Live at Lulu's White, as opposed to Lulu White's, which is how it should be. What do ya want from an unofficial release, right? This is a great performance form Bill's last trio. A bit more laid back than the 2 volumes of the Paris Concert from this trio from the same year, but it's a different setting (a club), which lends itself to the more relaxed atmosphere. Despite this (or in spite of it, I guess), the band still shines. A great release, and until Warner (the label Bill was on at the time of this performance) or someone else decides to officially release this, the only way to get this performance on vinyl.

The sound quality is very good, unexpected of the DOL label!Musically, some people love to hear Bill Evans play in clubs (I am one of them), the club environment audience add a certain taste to Bill’s music. The album is worth listening, normally, Bill Evans can almost never let you down.
