Battletorn started off as a trio, born in 2004, in NYC. Originially consisting of Beverly on vox, Omid on guitar and Will on drums, the band met, practiced, created 7 songs and less than a week later, played their first show. Weeks after that, their first release surfaced. By the end of 2005, Beverly left the band leaving just Omid to play guitar and "sing" and Will still playing drums.

Tour edition CDr release limited to 50 copies. Hand-assembled in slimline cases to sell on the "Terminal Tour" in 2007 across the US. Includes a three-panel foldout card. Some copies were incorrectly printed with a reddish ink on the face by the CD replication place in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. These copies were put in paper sleeves and used as promos to give away with LP copies that were sold on the tour. They didn't have booklets.Recorded/mixed/mastered December 1-3, 2006 at Thousand Caves - Queens, NY.
