Weezer, also known as the Teal Album, is the twelfth studio album by the American rock band Weezer. It was released digitally on January 24, 2019, through Crush Music and Atlantic Records, with a retail release on March 8. The album is composed of cover songs. It was announced and released on the same day as a surprise precursor to Weezer's thirteenth studio album, which was released on March 1, 2019.
Weezer, also known as the White Album, is the tenth studio album and fourth self-titled album by American rock band Weezer, released on April 1, 2016. The album marks their first produced by Jake Sinclair. It is the first release through Crush Music and was distributed by Atlantic Records.
About Weezer (The Blue Album). Weezer, known better to fans as The Blue Album, is Weezer’s first and most successful studio album. It was released on May 10, 1994. Three strong singles ( Undone – The Sweater Song, Say It Ain’t So, and Buddy Holly ) pushed both the album and the band to the front of the post-Kurt Cobain alternative scene, and then even further into mainstream success. The album was produced by The Cars lead singer Ric Ocasek, after Weezer was pressured by Geffen Records to avoid a self-produced album
So, this time we have Weezer. Not even much time has passed since the time of their previous compilation of covers in the Teal album, as the guys finally produced the long-awaited real album with the original tracks. I absolutely do not have the slightest understanding of what the fans expected from the album, because there wouldn’t be much to expect from mainstream music, but the current Black album pleasantly entertained me and left a pleasant aftertaste, which is already quite good for me personally.
Black is fully replete with every sound Weezer could think to chuck on it, from "Too Many Thoughts in My Head"'s crazy funk guitar to Pat's double-tracked kits and looping beats to the labyrinthine, breathtaking basslines.
Weezer (often referred to as The Blue Album and commonly abbreviated as TBA) is the debut album by Weezer. It was released on May 10, 1994 by Geffen Records. The album was produced by former Cars frontman Ric Ocasek and recorded in Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Weezer spawned the popular singles "Undone - The Sweater Song" and "Buddy Holly", both of which were responsible for launching Weezer into mainstream success with the aid of music videos directed by Spike Jonze.
