Images 1966–1967 is a compilation album by the British pop singer David Bowie. It comprises his first long player release as a solo artist for Deram Records, titled David Bowie, released in 1967, and various singles and B-sides recorded for Deram during 1966 and 1967. The arrangements on this compilation are not reminiscent of the glam rock that broke Bowie through to success. They are mostly orchestral with sound effects created in the recording studio.

Recorded in London during 1966/67. Backcover reads: Tracks B1 to B3, D2 to D4 have been electronically reprocessed to simulate stereo. That is not right: only tracks D2, D3 & D4 are simulated stereo, tracks B1, B2, B3 are the original mono versions.

All Songs on this record were written by David Bowie and Recorded in London during 1966/67 and are stereo except for those marked which have been electronically reprocessed to simulate stereo. Songs Marked have been previously released on Deram Records DES 18003. Tracks B1 to B3, D2 to D4 have been electronically reprocessed to simulate stereo. Tracks A1 , A3 to A5 , B4 , B6 to D1 have been previously released on Deram DES 18003

The 21 tracks include the entirety of his 1967 debut album, plus seven stray songs from singles and sessions that were unreleased at the time. Possibly because it wasn't heard by many listeners until it was reissued in the early '70s during Bowie's ascent to stardom, this material has been unfairly maligned.

David Bowie (1967 album). David Bowie is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 1 June 1967, on Deram Records. Its content bears little overt resemblance to the type of music that later made him famous, such as the folk rock of "Space Oddity" or the glam rock of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Prior to releasing the album, Deram issued two singles with the same personnel, "Rubber Band" b/w "London Boys", in December 1966, and "The Laughing Gnome" b/w "The Gospel According to Tony Day", in April 1967. Rubber Band" was a different recording to the album track. London Boys" has been lauded as Bowie's first mini-masterpiece, a melancholy observation of the London Mod scene of the time.
