Aerial is the eighth studio album by the English singer-songwriter and musician Kate Bush, released in 2005, twelve years after her 1993 album The Red Shoes. It is her only double album to date. Aerial is Bush's first double album, and was released after a twelve-year absence from the music industry during which Bush devoted her time to family and the raising of her son, Bertie.
Fierce Kate Bush fans who are expecting revelation in Aerial, her first new work since The Red Shoes in 1993, will no doubt scour lyrics, instrumental trills, and interludes until they find them. In her higher register, Bush shouts, croons, and trills against and above the band's force. Nothing much happens on Aerial except the passing of a day, as noted by the one who engages it in the process of being witnessed, yet it reveals much about the interior and natural worlds and expresses spiritual gratitude for everyday life.

Aerial is a music studio album recording by KATE BUSH (Crossover Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 2005 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. 2xCD EMI - KBACD01 (2005, Europe).
The second CD of Kate Bush's Aerial album is a suite subtitled "A Sky of Honey" that is soaked with the sounds of birds singing. It concludes with the title track, which is set at dawn and blends birdsong with Bush's own laughter. There is something strangely connected in the shapes. More songs from Kate Bush.
Aerial is the eighth studio album by singer, songwriter and producer Kate Bush. Her first and only double album, it was released on 7 November 2005 after Bush’s 12 year absence from the music industry. The album incorporates elements from the folk to the flamenco genres while spanning across 2 discs in a similar fashion to Bush’s magnum opus Hounds of Love. The first, titled A Sea of Honey, carries individual tracks, all loosely connected by the theme of strong archetypes. This was also the last 7" single released by Bush and the last single to receive a b-side.
Aerial is easily Kate Bush's best work since The Hounds of Love. Had this been the album I would have been happy, but not overjoyed. Pie" (can't put the Greek letter here) is a really amazing song, the chorus is Kate singing the number pie. The other stand out track on disc one is "Joanni. It is on the second disc that the album really come alive however, and makes this an essential album
