The British musical group the Fall had just one constant member: vocalist Mark E. Aside from him, there were about 66 members over the band's 41-year existence, with about a third of the musicians lasting for less than a year. A number of guests and people with brief stays in the group are listed afterwards.

In theory, Mark E. Smith tackling Nervous Norvus's odd little novelty tune from 1956 sounds great. Oh my. I'm glad I didn't pay very much for this. Given a more lively musical backing, this might have had a chance. Not that the original was any great achievement, but it is kind of a bit of goofy/weird fun. The basic song here is completely unrecognizable and Smith's vocals seem to indicate that he may well have been in need of a transfusion himself at the time of recording. Very disappointing.
