It's also inevitably about breaking up, getting drunkâ?¦ or getting drunk because of a break-up. Born Ugly isn't quite a mindblower, but it's a solid record from some veterans that deserves multiple spins.

1) The Slow Death is a melodic death doom metal band from Blue Mountains, Australia with both male and female vocals, formed by Stuart Prickett (mastermind of Elysium and Stone Wings) in 2007. Their style is ultra slow death/doom with melodic riffs, powerful deep growls, grandiose female vocals and tragical lyrics. The atmosphere is mournful and dark. The guitars are magnificent with perfect riffs, amazing melodies and rhythm changes.

It's Jesse Thorson's (Slow Death, Pretty Boy Thorson and The Fallen Angels) newest band or project, if you wanna call it that, and I really think It shows how good of a songwriter Jesse really is. This is a fantastic bunch of songs. This is the new project from Jesse Thorson of The Slow Death, et. and as expected it is great.
