It took Bad Company three years to record the follow-up to 1979’s Desolation Angels. The rock marketplace had changed radically since the band’s inception in the early 1970s. Electricland features all the band’s trademarks from singer Paul Rodgers’ confident howl to Mick Ralphs’ strong guitar chops.
Bad Company released 'Rough Diamonds,' the last album to feature their original lineup, in August 1982. 35 Years Ago: Bad Company Disintegrates After Releasing ‘Rough Diamonds’. Bad Company ended with a bang, and then a whimper. Sessions for Rough Diamonds, which arrived in August 1982 as the band's sixth studio effort, at one point devolved into violence.
