Interview (stylized ĭn′terview) is the eighth album by British progressive rock band Gentle Giant. The album was released in 1976. It is a concept album conceived as a radio interview. Three of the tracks integrate brief "interview" sections which were staged in the studio. The title song has lyrics derived from the type of question and answer dialogue they had encountered while talking to the music press. This album was critically and commercially less successful than their previous album Free Hand.

In A Glass House" is a real prog lovers album with some highly complex interludes and well thought out tempo shifts and melodic runs. I guess if SPOCK'S BEARD borrowed from any of GENTLE GIANT albums this would be it. An essential album most definitely with some totally musically all-inspiring moments.

Interview is actually a concept album centering on a fictitious interview based upon the music business. There are the typical complex harmonies and intricate musical passages, but the real progress is in the group's expanded sound, thanks in large part to Kerry Minnear's stellar keyboard innovations. Although the songs are not as memorable as those on Free Hand, there isn't a weak one in the bunch, with the reggae-styled "Give It Back" being a standout

Album comes in a gimmix cover with the center part of the jacket front side being transparent foil with black print on it; there is a printed cardboard insert that provides the remainder of the cover image. Release also contains a printed inner sleeve with the lyrics. Track B4 is not mentioned on the release, but the music is present on the disc.

A concept album, supposedly about how people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. But this short explanation does not do justice to the album, which is a complex tour-de-force. The album cover is overlaid for a three-dimensional effect. The Alucard CD recreates the vinyl's artwork even more accurately in a custom digipak.

In a Glass House is their fifth album and the successor of Octopus, one of their finest hour along with Free Hand. The band’s sound on In a Glass House isn’t too different from its predecessor, except that the songs generally have fewer about-faces within them and instead feature a greater amount of development. Be warned though; the band pull a sublime 180°-turn in the middle of the song. Gentle Giant continues to strike a chord with listeners young and old to this day, and their music has stood the test of time: not exactly with the mainstream audience, but with those who enjoy the more challenging, quirky, and clever of art forms.
