The Magic City is an album by the American jazz musician Sun Ra and his Solar Arkestra. Recorded in two sessions in 1965, the record was released on Ra's own Saturn label in 1966. The record was reissued by Impulse! in 1973, and on compact disc by Evidence in 1993. It is part of the Penguin Guide's Core Collection of recommendations. It is notable especially for the title track, on which "the Arkestra's range of feelings and sound is expressed in a design that's simply unprecedented in jazz

For example, the arrangement of "Somewhere Else" played here is very different in feeling and tone than that offered on the album "My Brother the Wind, Vol. II". Apart from this, the tone, touch, and strength that Sun Ra displays in his piano playing, illustrates why he must be considered among the very greatest innovators, composers and arrangers ever produced by the music.

Somewhere Else is a 1993 album by free jazz composer, bandleader and keyboardist Sun Ra released on the Rounder label. The album consists of tracks recorded in late 1989, at the same sessions which produced the albums Blue Delight and Purple Night, but it was not released until shortly before Sun Ra's death, over three years later.

Sun Ra. A&M Records. 2014 as a bonus disc for the 'Continuation' album re-release and 2016 as the 'Blue York' Album. Previously unreleased recording from 1963. Heliocentric Worlds Vol. 3 (The Lost Tapes). Previously unreleased recording from the Heliocentric Worlds Volume II sessions.
