Now's the Time" is old hat to bop players, but the group's off-kilter approach adds a touch by altering a portion of its theme. Peterson's equally at home with traditional songs, taking a gospel-inflected vocal in "Glory, Glory Hallelujah" and adding a sassy trumpet solo to a soulful interpretation of "When the Saints Go Marching I. The rhythm section is in great form, but Peterson's contributions leave the most lasting impressions.
